Simple to keep and breed: Juveniles can be raised in a 6 Qt “shoebox”, and adults can be housed in a 15 Qt “sweater box” or a 10 gallon terrarium. I keep mine on a substrate of sand, 1/2″- 1″ deep, with a warm spot of 88-90 degrees on the surface, on end of the cage. I recommend a small hide box with slightly moistened sand underneath, kept on the cool side of the cage. Mist the inside of the hide nightly to provide droplets for drinking. Knob-Tail Geckos do not require UVB light, but should have 12-14 hours of ambient light in the summer and 12 hours in the winter. Mine eat 3-4 crickets, 4 times a week. Remember: these are nocturnal, so it is best to offer food in the evening!
